Jack LaLanne passed away today. Jack LaLanne is lovingly considered the “godfather of fitness” in America. Through TV, film, video, books and bodybuilding competition, Jack LaLanne pioneered physical fitness in the USA. He is also credited with opening the first health and fitness club in the United States. He was publicly promoting physical fitness long before it ever became fashionable, cool or profitable. Guys like Arnold Schwarzenegger knew, admired and respected Jack LaLanne.  Up until his passing at 96 years old, he was promoting exercise and a sugarless diet that focused on unprocessed food and fruit and vegetable juices, to which he attributed his longevity and vitality. He always looked healthier than his age, which spoke volumes about his words and lifestyle.  His legacy will be the inspiration of millions all over the world to improve their health through proper diet and physical exercise.
