ricky who?

  • Catrgory: Biographical

Hi. My name is Ricky May and I’m a big fan of China and the USA. I think of myself as part of a growing minority of people who feel this way. I have had extraordinary experiences in China and the USA so my opinions reflect these experiences. If you read through last year’s blogs or older blogs, you can get a quick understanding of my feelings and opinions. I usually speak from the heart but play with words and imagery to provide cerebral entertainment.
I also consider myself an artist, in that I use non-verbal forms of expression and communication and interpret the world in this unusual way. When I write, I often do so creatively. I was originally hopelessly private to sustain an outsider’s view of the world. Now I’m just hopeless. I feel natural doing what’s not expected of me, and I warn you that I’m not your typical anything.

I am passionate about my few loyalties. I would honestly prefer to have peaceful cohabitation amongst the world’s animals but realize that is unlikely in this world. I will die arguing for peace. In fact, if you read my older blogs, I say the same thing over and over again. I sing the same ol’ song, so to speak, but I’m happy to do so if I can reach just one other person.
If I have any legacy, it’s that I tried to help people understand each other and that people have a better understanding of each other because of my interference. I want to leave the world better than I found it because my parents taught me to do that wherever I live. My goal is to have the whole world come to my funeral, figuratively speaking. I want everyone there to realize that it’s possible to have friends all over the world. It’s possible to live without slaughtering each other like any of the various animals people eat. If I lived this way, anyone can. If I did it, you can too.
