This is my first completed attempt at making music as an adult. As a child, I vowed to never share the best of myself with the world–which included musical talents. After 30 years, I felt I made good on that promise and it’s turned out to be a very good decision to express my creative personal self or my personal self creatively.
Advances in technology and a return to my birthplace were the obvious and not-so obvious prerequisites. After living more than half my life away, I decided to return to my original residence and have a go at it, and I wanted to use my original music to show friends and family how much I had changed–that I was no longer someone who could not and would not learn and orchestrate the tools necessary to write and sing his own song.
The first song’s about love; I wanted it to be about love, but it had to have my signature, so it’s a song about love, but my dissociative version of it.
