refurbishing the used table
For the shop, I bought a stainless steel table at one of the auctions I’ve gone to and I wanted to show the years of tarnish and kitchen wear I’m removing through metal polish and elbow grease. The red ball is a buoy from the lake. The towel shows what’s been removed from the metal’s surface, to the left is the polish, and as can be seen the reflection of the buoy in the table reveals how successful hard work and a little determination can be. 😉

I started the university chapter of Amnesty Int’l when I was in Grad School at GSU in Atlanta. One of our primary campaigns was women’s rights are human rights.

Working on the house and cafe. Happy to be busy but still not convinced life is easy to get used to here.
