First time using public domain drum samples. I did not want the standard beats we hear on pop songs; I wanted a rickymay sound. A little Elvis with a little drunk trash pop. It’s funny how good I can make some really bad guitar playing. I use backup vocals prominently for the first time. This song, from concept to production, was fast-tracked because I so liked the feel of it; however, it took lengthy edits and tweaking for me to complete it.
As for the song’s lyrics, well, I have spent so much of my adult life online, and with the millennial generation having almost their entire lives online, it’s both sick and saintly that just about anyone can find and get just about anything they want from these young, tight, and perfectly naive pretty things.
